Riverside Manager Email Integration
Riverside Christmas Manager connects to the Riverside business Gmail account, riversidelightingtech@gmail.com, using Google's gmail.send permission. This is a send-only permission: Riverside Manager can send email through that account, but does not read, search, or list Gmail messages or access Gmail contacts or settings.
Riverside Manager uses this connection to send prepared estimates and estimate documents, staff-composed customer emails and selected attachments, payment-plan notices, payment receipts, staff password-reset links, and urgent task alerts. Depending on the workflow, an email may include customer contact or service details, estimate or invoice amounts, payment receipt information, task details, or a password-reset link. Google processes the sender, recipient, subject, message, and any attachment to deliver the email.
The OAuth client credentials and refresh token are stored server-side in Firebase Secret Manager. The browser does not receive the refresh token, and Riverside Manager does not retrieve or store Gmail inbox contents.
Riverside stores relevant email history in its own records. Staff-composed customer emails retain the recipient, sender, subject, message text, send status, and Gmail message identifier. Attachment metadata is kept with the customer communication record, and attachment files are stored in Firebase Storage. Other email workflows retain related delivery or audit details in the relevant business records. Riverside staff can access these records according to their roles and applicable record-retention and security practices. Google separately handles sent email under the settings and policies for the Riverside Gmail account.
Riverside uses Google authorization data only to provide the email-sending feature described here. Riverside does not sell Google user data or use it for advertising, profiling, or training generalized AI or machine-learning models. Information is shared with Google to deliver messages and with the intended recipients. Related communication records are stored by Riverside in Firebase services for customer-service, operations, and audit purposes.
